We Will Remember....

Peggy Miller
The Children's Literature Council was saddened to hear of the death of Emeritus Board Member, Peggy Miller, on January 29, 2006. She was honored by the Council in 1992 with the Dorothy C. McKenzie Award.

Board members will remember her as a beloved friend to many in professional organizations, and one who remained active with libraries and literature for young people throughout her long life.

Sue Alexander
Sue Alexander, a long-time Children's Literature Council Board Member and Children's Book Author passed away July 3, 2008. Sue received the Dorothy C. McKenzie Award in 1980 for her distinguished contributions to the field of children's literature.
