Meet: The Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators - A Community for KidLit Creators

Whether you’re new to writing, a seasoned pro, or in the middle of your journey, the Los Angeles region of The Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) wants to inspire and support you as a creator of children’s books. Whether you write or write/illustrate board books, picture books, chapter books, novels and graphic novels for kids up to the age of 18, you’ll find opportunities for professional development, critique and promotion of your work, sessions to improve your craft, industry knowledge and connections with publishing professionals.
